The provided finishing is based on our close collaboration with selected electroplating shops which adapt perfectly to our product requirements.
Non-ferrous metals and light metals including their respective alloys as well as steel and stainless steel can be refined galvanically, mechanically and by oxidation and painting according to their individual requirement profile. By means of galvanic coatings, a variety of desired surface characteristics can be achieved. The functional electroplating technology serves as anticorrosive and wear protection, catalysis as well as an electrical conductor.
Surface standards according to Volkswagen, Daimler, BMW, Ford, Porsche etc. can be realized based on the respective latest issue.
With the implementation of the EU End-of-Life Vehicle Directive 2000/53/EG and EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive, the application of anti-corrosion coatings containing chromium VI is prohibited. Particularly affected are galvanical coatings such as yellow and black chromating. Alternative coatings such as thin- and thick-layer passivation with and without sealing as well as chromium VI free zinc flake protection are possible.
Upon request, we can provide an inspection certificate regarding coat thickness and long-time measurement. The coat thickness measurements are based on the X ray fluorescence measurement system according to DIN EN ISO 3497.
